2023 Fall Fashion Trends

Fall fashion is finally here, and I am so excited. Fall officially begins in a couple of days, but unofficially, I am already fully on board with pumpkin cream cold brews and red socks in tow.
Each year, macro and micro trends disperse into the ether like wildfire. These are the trends with staying power that I think could easily work in most anyone’s wardrobe.
Red. Obviously. It’s a color, how can it be a trend? Well, it just is. It’s a trend that’s also a closet staple for me, and it’s never going to be “out of style.” It will just be less trendy. Which isn’t a bad thing.
Silver. Another color trend that I am (and always am) eating up. Metallics always come out to play for the holidays, but this year, we’re dipping into them a little early, and I absolutely adore it. Throw on a silver flat with red nylons, and you’re officially my new fashion bff.
Flats. Ok, I didn’t think I would be on board with this one because I really do have a vendetta against ballet flats, but the designers really stepped it the f*ck up this season. And I have officially drunk the Kool-Aid.
Lady jackets. If we take anything from the ~qUiEt LuXuRy trend, let it be this. Lady jackets are chic, timeless, and an easy way to smarten up any look.
Lace. I haven’t really heard anyone else talking about this, so perhaps this is a bit portentous of me, but I predict lace this fall, and I am into it. Lace is such a feminine little detail that adds a rush to an otherwise meh piece of clothing. I know a lot of people hate lace, so don’t shoot the messenger …
